Get Wild

Steve Angello seems to be heading into a minimal direction...and I like it. Sharam of Deep Dish recently dropped two tracks.

Get Wild and Texi.

Get Wild, samples Jodeci vocals and has a  bigger sound. Angello has remixed this and stripped it to its bare essentials.

When I saw Mathew Dear play in Miami he mixed Patrice Baumel's, Roar (which is a nice tool) right into Angello's remix of Get Wild and it was great.

So much so that I found a youtube video of it.

Out on Yoshitoshi recordings.

P.S. I mentioned Sharam's other track Texi earlier. You should all go to beatport and buy it (well worth it). It dropped originally under the artist name "Texi" but somewhere, somehow, the cat was let out of the bag that it was actually a Sharam track.

We Love

Today I've decided to upload a recent DJ set from Nic Fanciulli (probably my favorite dj). I saw him play in Miami not too long ago and stayed through his whole set til about 7 am. Each track was better than the previous and there was absolutely no filler in his set.

For those of you who don't know Fanciulli, he's produced plenty under Skylark.

Nic has also been producing under his own name, I've been personally playing his track with Zoo Brazil, Ide.

Also be sure to check out the One + One he's released with James Zabiela.

This set was recorded at We Love Space (Ibiza) on Sunday, Aug 3rd.

(Uploaded to Rapidshare)

Updates

A while back I finished a track called Klöver. It's sat on my hard drive for pretty long now and rather than going through the quite lengthy process of iTunes/Beatport, I figured I'll just release on the internet for free.

This ones a bit more on the electro side.

I've also done an edit with Julien Jabre - Jungle Beatz and M83- Birds. This was inspired from a Luciano set where he does Jungle Beatz with In Church.

FTW?

I don't think we should see each other.

-But your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends. I don't think it'll work.

I know your friends are my friends and, uh...I thought about that. You can have 'em.

-American Pyscho

Music:

The almighty Cocoon brings us two new tracks: one from Tiefschwarz (Liquid Cherries) and the other from Guido Schneider &  Andre Galluzzi (Too Late To Land).

Both tracks are great. Personally love the lazy vocal on Too Late To Land.
