More good music from the Swedes. This time coming from Minilogue, who have been remixed by the likes of Dubfire, radio slave, and Wighnomy Brothers (to name a few). They have been charted and played by countless DJ's (including Âme's Fabric 42) as well as seeing releases on many labels including the almighty Cocoon. The above video is a track titled Animals (not to be confused with Animales) featured on a 2 x 12" that dropped on Cocoon earlier this year. I know the cute cartoons drawing thing has been done before countless times but this is a great video nonetheless, especially the parts where the cartoon are on-tempo with the music i.e. the breathing and various drums. Also, I dig the paparazzi like effect on the cartoon characters with the shaky cams and sudden close ups. Gives me the feeling that they are all around us right this moment!

Based on the video above, if you guessed that todays mp3 would be Minilogue...well, you were right. Snake Charmer is the A-Side to a new 12" that dropped earlier this month, so yes this is fairly new. Because of the song's name expect to hear a Pungi playing throughout. Wait, a Pungi is a snake charmers instrument right? Great fucking drums too...
