She Wants Me

It's becoming a bit noticeable that I can barely keep up with updates on here, but once a month ain't so bad as long as the track selection is decent (atleast). I've been busy working on a Armand Van Helden remix and have a Chromeo remix to start after that. Also, with my 21st birthday just passing, my liver took heavy abuse for a good week (atleast). Plus with a few gigs coming up I'll have about another week of liver abuse (atleast).

Upcoming Shows:

I'm playing Chicago on Friday May 11...I guess that technically means tonight. The show is at Debonair social club. Thanks to Will and Markus (LA Radio) for finally getting me out to Chicago.

May 12 in Milwaukee at the MOCT. Johnny Love and the rest of the Chicago crew will join me for this one. I hear we might be mixed up with a Harley Davidson crowd. A good opportunity for me to be part of a bar fight and be that guy who gets picked up and slid across the bar.

May 13 in LA. Playing Banana Split.

May 15 in LA. Playing Cinespace.

May 16 in LA. BPM Mstrkrft issue release party. I can't even explain how dope this party is going to be.

I've been really feeling anything Richard Dinsdale has been putting out. She Wants Me is a solid tune with computer vocal snippets. The build ups are proper and the disco orchestra samples are a great addition.

The dubsided crew have been doing it up proper for a hot minute now. Speaker Junk (Joshua Harvey/Trevor Loveys) put out the Foxxy (Hendrix) 12" a while back. However, I completely overlooked the B-side Close your eyes (Doors). Pretty much the same formula as the A-side except this ones got massive build ups. Anyways, this will get all kinds of love on any dance floor.

Bobmo is one of the newer acts to be signed to the Institubes empire. He's young...maybe even younger than the already young Surkin, who he shares a similar sound with. Bobmo is also part of High Powered Boys. His debut 12" titled Let's go Bobmo! is quite impressive.
