Brooklyn Woes

Brooklyn has the most ghetto Blockbuster(s) known to the existence of mankind. I need to write this paper on a writer covered in class but a book not covered. Stephen King was one of the writers (its literature of popular culture). The topic was to write four pages discussing themes of that particular genre. My easy way out (or so I thought) was to rent a movie based on a Stephen King novel. Initially, I went for "Cujo" but they don't carry that, so my second choice was "It". Besides the fact that Tim Curry is pretty fucking awesome, this is a fairly easy story to follow along. So I'm watching this movie and when I get near the end (about 10 minutes left) the movie freezes. I tried wiping it down, skipping, rewinding, but the damn thing won't play anything after that point. I went back to Blockbuster since I remembered there was another copy on the shelf. When I got the new copy, it turns out this new copy is in worst shape than the previous. The deceiving part is that this new copy had a brand-spanking new cover...smoke and mirrors!
Netflix here I come.
Music:

I'll try to refrain from any "tickets to the gun show" jokes here. Some of you may remember me posting a John Dahlback track not too long ago, if you don't, use the trusty label link. John Dahlback dropped his full length At the Gun Show earlier this year, with the 12" being split in two releases, part 1 & 2 with 2 being the latest release (only a few days old now). Part 2 features four tracks, Eight To Five, being the only one that catches my attention and ears.
Out on Pickadoll.

From what I remember of the book ... uh ... the kids go down into a tunnel under the Barrens (I forget the name of it) where they find out that "It" is a giant spider-of-the-universe (as so many things turn out to be in King novels). Then they kill it ... I forget how. Or wound it. I'm obviously a font of information here. Better quit while I'm ahead. --z.h.
hey man, i think that dahlback track you posted is actually called borderline. both are great, though.
