Notice the lack of a sexy girl in the above photo, thats because this isn't Lazaro, though you would expect someone like me to pick some hot broad, but why be predictable right? Speaking of predictable, the new Audion record, Mouth to Mouth, is nothing like any of the other releases Matt Dear has put out under that pseudonym. It may have something to do with (according to rumor) that he made it in a couple of hours right before playing the Detroit Electronic Music Festival.
Where you could say that Kisses was very reminiscent of early belgian hardcore a la t99 (seriously guys, when is the damn hardcore revival gonna happen? I NEED HOOVERS), this new track has a definite disco house bassline, and the amount and length of the breaks make you think that Jacques Lu Cont decided to make a minimal record. Trust me though, this track is heat, I played it last night and I'm definetly not a minimal dj, but the beautiful thing about it is, minimal kids will get into it because its by their american hero and everyone else will lose it becuase its a good party starter
